Today, I looked up my childhood bully on Facebook, hoping she'd gone fat and ugly. Turns out she's drop-dead gorgeous and very successful. FML

I agree. A lot of times people who bully others usually are bullied or abused at home. Not justifying her behavior. Wishing she was ugly or had a bad life shouldn't make you feel better about yourself

By childhood are you referring to when you were young? Like pre teens or early teens, if so then maybe they've changed. She might even remember to you and apologize. I just don't think it's completely fair to judge someone after so many years, doesn't make what they did any better. Just a thought.

It's possible that she grew up and quit being an evil person. It's also ENTIRELY possible that she's successful because she's a vicious backstabbing ass who got where she is by intimidation and lies rather than actual talent and hard work. I've met the sort before. Sometimes bullies DO grow of it and turn into actual, remorseful human beings. I really hope that happened to her and she's not continuing her tradition of being a total **** to anyone she considers vulnerable and unlikely to get her in trouble.

As someone who was bullied every school day between first grade and high school, I can understand that you'd want life to justify you somehow... but wishing ill on someone else's life makes you just as bad as her. And dwelling on what's been done to you... how is that going to help YOU? Let them go. You don't need to drag that behind you anymore.
