If your grandma is cool enough to make that bet, she'll probably be fine in the date. I know my grandma would giggle a bunch and go 'Oh, no... What?' if I mentioned a bet like that, so I think you should count your blessings. Though it is still likely better if your date is a long term girlfriend and not someone new.
