Today, I made a very pretty sunflower cake that I woke up incredibly early to make. It took me hours and a lot of money. It was for my grandparents anniversary and my whole family was invited. We only got to see the remains because the waiter gave it to the wrong family, and they ate it. FML

Today, it's my three month anniversary with my girlfriend and so I decided to bake her a cake from scratch. It took me three hours, a call to my mom, three different recipe books, and half my pantry. On the way to her house, I stopped to pick up flowers and left the cake in the car. It melted. FML

Today, it was my boyfriend's mom's surprise birthday party. I was sent to pick up the very expensive cake and dozens of balloons. Not only was it windy and the balloons flew away, I tripped and dropped the cake. In the driveway in front of all their family and friends. FML

I can tell none of you are very bright nor have any of you ever served before ever think the server made a mistake.....probably not because your all perfect right fng retards......I seriously pray the next time u go out to eat the cooks play floor hockey with your food......I'm sorry u lost Ur cake yes the restaurant should comp Ur food and still need to tip we only get 4 bucks an hour and we still have to tip other people

It isn't their fault it happened and the waiter made a mistake which was really bad service for them. These people aren't "retards" or anything (which btw is an offensive word), they are simply angry that there was mistake made with consequences like that. Anyone can make a mistake but the fact is the service was bad and the waiter wasn't doing their job so please don't go insulting these people!

I hope if the family didn't pay, the restaurant did. Out of the waiter's check. You can't really blame the family - they either ordered cake or possibly thought it was a special night. The kitchen staff, however...
