Today, I realized I agreed to go to the gym with my fiancé after being on my feet at work all day because he wants to get fit, but he will not help me remodel the house I’m working on so we can have a bigger place to live, because he doesn’t feel like it. I don’t want or need to go to the gym. FML

Today, my wife tried to forbid me from going to the gym anymore because in public she looks fat stood next to me and it’s embarrassing. She picked me up from the gym yesterday and saw all the “thin gym sluts” I prefer to spend my time with instead of her. God, I’m sick of her lazy jealous BS. FML

My first thought was that OP's boyfriend was the creepy jealous type that did not want anyone but him looking at his girl friend. His comment might indicate a future suffocating possessiveness. My second thought was that OP's "holiday weight" was on top of a lot more excess weight. Boyfriend was embarrassed that workout clothes would reveal every roll and bulge as she huffed and puffed around the gym.
