Jesus the parents that do this are ******* stupid. This is one of my bit pet peeves. 1) Your daughter is going to want to date, get the **** over it. 2) You look like an idiot, and people will like you less for your overly defensive behavior. 3) You are distancing the relationship with your child. Good going. When she needs you, she'll be less likely to seek you out. 4) You're not actually going to hurt anyone, because you'll go to jail. So this is just a pointless power play. A lot of people should not be allowed to parent.

YeaI strongly disagree. my dad had one too and I didnt give a damn one way or another it was funny as hell to everyone. sure made my boyfriend a tad bit worried but every boyfriend with a dad is and he eventually laughed with us. There is nothing wrong with dads watching out for their girls especially when anything at all can happen.
