I see your point, but in the hands of people properly trained, guns aren't a bad thing. I grew up around guns, action movies, and violent video games, and I don't want to hurt anyone for no reason. Guns are for defending yourself, acquiring food, or sport. Anyone who uses unnecessarily shouldn't have had them in the first place. We don't need guns taken away, or certain guns restricted. We need to train people and administer tests before giving people gun licenses. Banning guns is not going to stop the bad people in this world from getting them, but it will stop the people who need to defend themselves from getting them. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
