I love how people who say YDI, don't realize they are saying they are saying; You deserve to burn in hell, for eternity. Yeah, just for eating veal? I think God can give the OP a break. Come on people! If you hate veal, that is fine. I don't eat veal, I hate it. You don't see me pushing my likings onto someone else so why should all of you. And, no, it is NOT only vegetarians/vegans, it's also we meat-eaters. Not all of us from each group but some. Some vegans/vegetarians try to persuade meat-eaters to their point of view, and vise versa. We aren't all going to like the same things, so why not just let the person eat whatever the hell they want. I do find the way they kill baby cows inhumane, but I will NOT go to a resturant and kick some lady's ass just because she feels the need to eat it. And I find what this guy did, tactless and rather idiotic. Really, burn in hell? All you have to say is: "Oh, I'm a vegetarian and I find what they do really inhumane..." Something of that sort, start a debate. Hell you might even get her over to YOUR side. YLIF, try not to talk about meat or food for that matter when you start to talk to a guy. You should try to find out all of his prefrences.
Well, if you didn't say you loved eating baby cows, maybe he wouldn't have said that. I'm not a vegetarian, but seriously, there are certain meats I won't eat because it's just too inhumane. That being said, I don't think I'd react like that anyway. My personal choice is to not eat veal, lobster, etc. But what other people do is their business. So yea, he kind of overreacted.
People who say that the animals we eat are killed humanely gotta be kidding or living in a Disney movie. We live in a capitalistic world. We don't have time to kill humanely. Visit an animal farm/ slaughterhouse if you don't believe in animal cruelty.
Ya know, this actually reminds me...I did go to a butcher shop once, asking if they had veal. The lady up front called me a sick bitch and kicked me out. I can't help it if it tastes damned good. Even after my Dad told me exactly how it's prepared, I just looked at the meat slice he'd given me, took another bite, shrugged, and said "Still tastes good".
This is why I ******* hate vegetarians. They're all so self-righteous it's disgusting. **** all vegetarian hippies. They need to die.
sooo there's this thing called the food chain... and I just happen to be on top of it. Lucky me, hun?
I eat meat (a lot), but I don't eat stuff like Veal or Fois Gras because of the way the animals suffer in its production. So I can understand his reaction, even if it was excessively rude.
I don't understand why people get so upset at vegetarians, those that DON'T push their beliefs off on everyone else that is, if they choose to not eat meat that is their choice, not YOURS, just as you choosing to eat meat is yours not THEIRS, and aside from a few that push their vegan/vegetarian beliefs on everyone and go way over the top the ones I encounter most that are the rudest and have the LEAST respect for how others choose to live their life is MEAT EATERS! Many meat eaters get so angry when they hear that someone doesn't eat meat, that person, may not have said anything other than simply I don't eat meat, and will get ATTACKED for it. The meat eater screaming. meat is delicious, we have SHARP teeth for a reason, etc... wow, you need to calm down and back off, as long as the vegan/vegetarian isn't telling you to NOT TO EAT MEAT, SHUT UP. And, veal is wrong for reasons different than eating adult cow or most other meat. There are other foods that also won't eat for the way an animal was tortured/killed. There is a HUGE difference between the normal slaughter of animals, and the torture of some.
Bahahhahaa you deserved that one.

Well, I mean, it's not the most politically correct meat on the planet. It seems he may be a vegetarian. You should probably lose his number anyway. I mean, you met him at the mall.
Wow, well if hes going to be like that for not being vegan, not worth your time. I'm vegetarian myself but I realize it's not for everyone.
