Today, I once again told my son he needed a job and a girlfriend because I simply could not keep him in my house anymore. He yelled, "No, I can do whatever I want!" Then went back to playing video games. He's 38. FML

Did you ever think about addressing this problem a little earlier?

YDI for letting it get that far. Just throw his stuff out and change the locks. The guy is 38 for ****'s sake.

kick his ass out! he's an adult and you have no legal obligations to keep him in your house. take him to court if you have to if he needs a better reason than just " I don't want you here any more." also, if he doesn't have a job, where's he getting the money for his games? if it's you, cut him off! don't support him like that if you want him gone!

kick him out, sell the xbox, do whatever you have to do so he can get a life.

I would suggest Beating him, it wouldnt count as child abuse

322, in some states it is required by law to serve an eviction notice to someone staying in your home whether they're paying rent or not. in some areas, for instance, if you let someone stay in your home for even a week, you must give them sufficient notice before evicting them. while some states require only a week or two notice, most have a 30 day law. of course, you would have to check the specific tennant laws in your own state/county/territory to find which law applies.

haha this reminds me of my friends brother

good parenting will always come back to you.
