Today, I overheard my co-workers talking about how they don't need flu shots because everyone else gets them. These people are in the medical industry. FML

All I know is that every time I got the flu shot or the nasal spray, I would get sick as hell for about 3 weeks: 102+/- fever, sweating, vomiting, and every time I went to the doctor/hospital/sick bay I was told I had the flu, then berated for not getting the flu vaccine, then apologized to when they checked my records and found I had gotten it. Since I got out of the military and an not longer required ey get the vaccine, guess what: I haven't gotten the flu. I know it helps some people, but others not so much.

Assholes like that are the reason cancer patients, transplant recipients, etc. get the flu and die :( They are yet another person who can catch it and pass it on...to those that can't be protected.

I got my flu 'vaccination' courtesy of my coworker who should have stayed his ass home.

Iv never had a flu shot and never had the flu

And those would be the ones I don't want near me. Idiots. I thought you needed to get these shots to even work in the medical field?

It's true. You don't have to give flu shots to the entire population, only a certain amount.

Actually, there's this thing called Herd Immunity

It's because all the flu shots now contain things we don't know about. (Ebola). Government is trying to decolonize.
