Today, I paid 11 dollars to see the new Wolverine movie. I arrived an hour early and waited patiently for the movie to start. 3 minutes before it began, a drunk guy stumbled in and took the last empty seat in the theater... next to me. He talked to me the whole movie. FML

Just to clarify/answer all the questions, I did go with friends, I was on the end of the line of friends. And I was one of the last to show up, people got there 2 hours early. And I do live in CA. Movies are expensive. Like others said though, I don't think it ruined my life, it was just an unlucky occurrence. And yes he did smell lol. And not that it matters, but I'm a girl. And a wimp. ;)

YDI. If you had told the manager, he would have kicked out the guy and if you bitched enough about having to miss the movie to come talk to him, probably a refund. Sitting there and letting it ruin your movie is just dumb.

It's interesting how the majority of the comments seem to be against this guy, but 10 to 1, people are evidently sympathetic, oh how resoundingly the voice of trolls do boom. Some people have assertiveness problems, god knows confronting a (probably) belligerent drunk guy would only exacerbate them, hardly a reason to YDI.

i wouldve kicked the ****** in the balls, and then if he complained you just say. He attacked me! OF COURSE HE DOESNT REMEMBER IT! HE WAS DRUNK! Then if the cop is trying to arrest you kick him in the nuts to, and be like, whats with all the drunk people nowadays?

#23 While I agree that there are some truly gruesome painful ones out there theres a diversity to this website some are lighter and still really suck and some are heavier and for the most part shouldnt really be laughed at but its all sharing in the spirit of the FML in my opinion the term **** my life doesn't always mean my life is ****** sideways it just means "god damn thats a ****** bitch" or "just my ****** luck" and hey ******* stop calling him a loser its opening day for the movie and tickets go for 11 bucks in New York and California and if you do live in California I know how it is to see any movie there you have to go waaay early because theres a fuckload of people who all want to see the movie for those of you who dont live in such a populated are you probably can remember how early you had to go for the first time you saw The Dark Knight dont you? Yeah well thats probably what he was predicting for this movie so stop giving him shit
