Today, I polished off the delicious iced gingerbread cookies in the pantry. I'd assumed the little flecks on them were speckles of broken icing, but as I went to throw the cookie bag away, a larva crawled out. The hundreds of flecks were moth eggs. I've been eating the cookies for three days. FML

Oh my God. I hope the person saw a doctor. x__x I almost ate a worm once accidentally... >>; It wasn't a nice experience.

Hey, it's protein! Yeah, a little gross, but not life threatening. It's only a FYL if you're a vegetarian. Also...maybe close your food up better? Get yourself some clips or something. And wouldn't a moth larva be a caterpillar? Or are there some that aren't? I don't really know anything about bugs.

Word to the wise - gingerbread doesn't just magically exist only around Christmas, dearies.

ugh *shudder* look closely at the rest of your food, who knows, they could still be in your pantry. omg >____

And this is why we always take precaution while eating old food. Also, it only takes one apple to spoil the bunch; definitely check your other foods.

I just threw up in my mouth. :) YDI for not checking your clearly old food... Check everything else you've got in there before eating.

YDI for not checking your food and gingerbread is usually a winter snack, so I hope they weren't that old!

... That's nasty... At least the mommy moth hasn't come back for revenge... Watch out...
