She sounds like a shallow ho really. You were trying to help and she was stupid enough to actually try and pull that trick. Funny though nonetheless
Omg I hate attractive women who do that, because then when I need some help I can't even charm a dude! The OP sounds like a normal, random dude. Besides, whatever happens you just kick him in the nuts, get in your car, lock the door and call the cops.
She was freaked out by you. Get over it.
Maybe this whole argument is not so much about being a man vs. a woman, but about being a person who can protect himself/herself from any potential danger vs. someone who cannot. Personally, I know that I probably would not have the strength or street smarts to avoid an ill-minded stranger, and so I exercise caution in situations where many people might not; call it irrational if you wish. I don't know if society is trying to imbibe an "All men are creeps!" sort of prejudice, but if we are getting more paranoid in that sense, how is your average Joe or Jane supposed to see past all that media hype and hysteria? I do know that the crime rate is going up in a lot of areas; I definitely don't know if it was precipitated by the view of women as victims which had been caused in turn by the apparent paranoia. I mean, how *would* you know? Until further notice, my doors are locked and I'll try not to be too much of a bitch about it. Sorry. :/
Yes, men can be victims too, but women are more likely to be blamed for "letting it happen".
lol maybe she was on drugs. you never know hahaha
she's deserves to be stuck in the middle of no where becuz she wudnt let you help her, but you deserve it by saying attractive, implying that you werent helping her just becuz your a "nice guy"
So...we can't just passively state whether someone is attractive or not without there being an ulterior motive? I can say that I've helped many people who are attractive just to help. I've helped plenty of less attractive people as well for the same reason. However, I won't fault the woman. As people have stated many times above, you really have no way of knowing if a stranger has good intentions or not. And to stay alive, it helps to assume the latter.
Right before you drove off, you should have yelled "by the way, I'm a mechanic"
Before you drove off, you should have said " Oh yeah I'm a mechanic"

LOL. fake engine noises? what a retard.
she may have had someone coming. You can't just trust every stranger's intentions. no need to hope the worst for 'er because she didn't want a stranger's services.
