Today, I queued up for few hours in torrential rain to see the Harry Potter premiere. After just four hours sleep and waking at 3am, I fell asleep during film and missed the whole thing. FML

HOW COULD YOU FALL ASLEEP DURING HARRY POTTER???? thats unacceptable

If you wanted to see it that badly, you should have forced yourself to stay awake

And THIS is why we have Monsters and Redbulls... FYL though.

This happened to me too. I feel asleep during the midnight premiere of Transformers. Just go see it a week later or something. You're obviously a big fan and already knows what happens so it's not like someone is going to ruin it for you.

You didnt missed much. It's a horrible movie like the previous ones.

#77 — Don't forget that the books aren't good either. If you want good, quality fiction, go read Oscar Wilde or Aldous Huxley. JK Rowling is a good-for-nothing, uncreative businesswoman who is successful at writing tawdry populist fiction, getting away with it, and earning huge sums of money from it. Put simply, Rugrats is of better quality than Harry Potter. And Rugrats is crap.

Read the book lazy ass, Books made into movies are almost always bad, trust me.

if they went to the premiere i'm sure they DID read the books. not too many people are huge fans of the movies (because they do suck).

i think they did a good job with the 5th movie though. I thought the order of the phoenix (the book) was pretty crappy but the movie was decent. but yeah... i need to brush up on the 6th book before seeing the movie.

Are you kidding me? the 5th book was amazing, and the movie left out and changed so much it hurt me to watch. Go die in a gutter somewhere.

Again, (speaking from the perspective of someone who works around the corner from Leicester Square where it's taking place) the UK premiere still hasn't actually started! (Though it IS raining like hell over here!) So somebody's either a time-traveller, a fibber, or is talking about one of the earlier films! Or they're a wizard. Which I guess would make sense if it's Harry Potter...

funny...a news article from over an hour ago is talking about the premiere like it's already happened. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090707/ap_en_mo/eu_britain_harry_potter

LMFAO This happened to me a few weeks ago, waited for a friend to come with us and it was a midnight movie, I woke up at 7 AM to work till 5 PM then swam for a few hours waiting for him to finish work then played in the arcades, by the time we finally got in the movies, i feel asleep during previews.

Alright people, I'm 18 and I LOVE Harry Potter. I have grown up with the books and I'm beyond excited for the movie to come out. The books don't suck, they are some of the most amazing books I've ever read. I love how they totally just take you to a whole different world, and can get you away from the real world. Everyone just needs to back off and leave us Harry Potter fans alone.
