Today, I realised I sweat so much that I won't be able to go without sticking super pads with wings to my shirt underarms everyday. It makes supermarket trips interesting. Especially as a man. FML

Hey, it's alright. They probably think you're getting it for a girlfriend or wife anyways.

Try using gel deodorant. It's what I use because I sweat a lot too. But if that doesn't work check with your doctor because something in your body could be off causing you to sweat more than usual.

Cashiers will just think you're shopping for your girlfriend. As a former cashier, I can verify. And you get the added bonus of looking like a good boyfriend.

Actually, a US Navy corpsman once told me it's a bad idea to use menstrual products on bleeding wounds, because they're not designed to stop blood flow, but rather to absorb blood. So, if you put a menstrual pad on, say, a bleeding gash on a person's thigh, it won't stop blood from flowing out of the wound, but rather soak up blood that might otherwise stay in the body. Needless to say, it's better to keep blood IN the wound rather than draw it out. What you really want to do is apply pressure to the wound itself, or to a vein that goes to the wound.

Try getting a botox injection in you arm pits, it's an easy way to stop severe sweating

Botox injections under your arms will work. Much less embarrassing than pads...

I have it. its called hyperhydrosis. I'm on tablets called glycopyrrolate and they help. I've been under the hospital for 8 years and I'm due to have Botox. I feel your pain.

You have that condition where you over sweat. I forgot what it was called but there are treatments. Go see your doctor.

I thought this FML was implying that supermarket trips are interesting because everyone could see the pads in his pits...

I suffer from the very same problem (excluding the pads) I have a condition called hyperhydrosis. There is a medication you can take that reduces the sweating to normal amounts. It's called glycopyrrolate.
