Ugh! Congratulations, you have created a FML that draws in the sexists like moths to a light.
Wow, what's with the hate to the OP? Firstly, she said "on the first try", which implies that when she DOESN'T get it right she actually corrects her line... putting her head and shoulders above most drivers, if one can judge by the state of parking lots. Secondly, there's nothing wrong with taking innocent pleasure in a task well done. I still feel accomplished when I produce a perfectly-fried egg. It's not that this is a *hard* thing to accomplish, just knacky - and I get it right nearly every time - but still, the satisfaction of cooking something just right is a pleasing thing. Same thing when I sew a perfect neat French seam, or do any other small task in which the difference between sloppiness and perfection is psychologically vast. :) Also, I'm currently learning to drive and parallel parking is driving me to insanity. So when I first get it right on the first try, I'll probably throw a ticker-tape parade in my own honour!
i wish there were more people like you that would take pride in how well they can park/drive
Lol I've been driving for about 4 years and still take pride in if I park between the lines on the first try too :P
this isn't an FML this is such an MLIA!! XD don't think your life is ****** up cuz of this
maybe you should practice more... lol and the ydi and fyl columns are off by 1
