Today, I realized that I'll have to explain to my child that mommy and daddy met on World of Warcraft. FML

that's kind of cute? nerdy, yeah. but not terrible.

so what? that's better than having to tell them you met in a bar. me and my fiancé met on wow purely by accident. if you find the person right for you who gives a shit how you met. what is important is that you met. if you're ashamed than that's your problem and you need to figure out why you care what other people think. if you are happy that is what is important. I wouldn't change a thing about me and my fiance's relationship because he is the love of my life.

I'm in the same boat. And everyone knocks it, and says that love can't be real if you didn't meet the person in person before falling in love with them, but you really can't judge until you have been in the situation yourself. Love is stronger than any distance.

Same. And I'm okay with getting a relationship with someone you met online - obviously - as long as you don't call it 'dating' before you actually met...

I find nothing wrong with that. If you think you found the right person don't be ashamed.

What's wrong with that? I'm excited to tell my baby that his mommy and daddy met playing COD on Xbox live. It's a hobby, people meet doing hobbies, nothing wrong with that.

I wish you two didn't breed at all

Child: mommy how did you and daddy meet. Mother: well a long time ago we went to war with a great evil together Child....

FYL? Really? That sounds regretful.... If you're ashamed, why did you do it?

my current boyfriend and I met on world of Warcraft, yesterday my parents bought me a plane ticket to go visit him next month (I'm a teen)

Are you mrs weeast? My hs bio teacher has kids with her husband. They met on wow and named their first daughter after her first character.

Just do what my husband did - lie your ass off about how you two met and never let anyone know the truth...while I was telling my family the truth about meeting online, he made up a story about a mutual friend introducing us at a party, and to this day that's what his family still thinks.
