Just because you go to college doesn't mean you have to go around having sex with guys. Losing your virginity should be something important with someone you care about, not just a quick swing. You now have an STD for the rest of your life and will have to take extra careful precautions in order to prevent giving it to someone else. You should also report the guy for giving you an STD. Most of the times they know and just don't care, and they can get forced into helping pay for your medical bills when knowingly transferring it to someone else.

Bad things can happen to anybody. Don't listen to all the ****-shaming in the comments. But do consider it a wake-up call to use protection. Be thankful that at least it's curable, and nonfatal, unlike some other STDs.
