My parents never ground me because that would be murder. Also, they couldn't find a restaurant sketchy enough to make a one-time purchase of some "no questions asked" meat.

I was using ground in the past tense. My mom is still around and she can be tough, but she realizes I get punished severely enough at home, if you know what I mean.
