Today, I went to McDonald's and ordered a Happy Meal with a girl's toy. The high school girls behind the counter said I was too old to be served one, and I had to go home and explain to my sick daughter why she didn't get her toy. FML

Today, my daughter had a meltdown when I told her I donated some of her old toys to Goodwill. It turns out Toy Story has taught her that toys have feelings and that she has a meaningful relationship with them. She's in her teens. FML

Today, I took my 5-year-old daughter to the play place at McDonald's but I had to keep her busy, instead of letting her play. A mom was teaching her 3-year-old daughter how to pole dance, using the play place's poles. FML

Well duh, MLP is one of the greatest TV marketing devices this side of the world has ever seen, the age demographic is non existent as fans of the show are of all ages, many fans having some sort of ties to anime, and the show is so innocent and classic that people are bound to buy into it, or be upset when unable to buy into it.

I was upset, cause all I really wanted was Rainbow Dash, and I got Pinkie Pie, Flutter Shy and Cherilee. But when they brought the Squinkies, I was so upset that I didn't get Rainbow. So I told my mom to bring it to her work for the kids who get their teeth pulled. But that's beside the point. Go buy your daughter a My Little Pony.
