Today, I received a package in the mail. It was a workout and weight-loss plan that I ordered last week. I finished an entire pizza and pint of ice-cream as I read the guidelines. FML

Update: I have started the plan today, and it's been a great workout and a good meal plan so far. Thanks for the support and laughs!

No mortal can withstand the powerful temptations of pizza.

Consider it your "last supper" and make an honest effort to get in shape, you won't regret it. Also good luck if you decide to follow them.

Remember the key to this is moderation. A weight loss plan will not work if you completely deprive yourself of those things you like, as you're more likely to fall off the wagon and completely pig out on it - just have the willpower to eat a smaller portion, and a little less often. I'm going through the same thing myself right now, and moderation has worked well so far.

actually small portions more often is better for you. and easier to do.

I stopped buying processed food, junk food, and soda at the grocery store. I still eat those things occasionally but I have to overcome my laziness to go out and get it. In 6 months, with no change in exercise, I went from 180 pounds to 155. It's slow but sustainable. But I do recommend exercise.

It's OK to have a cheat day once in a while.

Was the sweetness of the ice cream ruined when it got mixed with the saltiness of your tears as you shoveled spoonfuls down your throat, OP? I hate when that happens.

i used to be like that. could not lose weight to save my life so i stopped trying. almost killed me. now i still eat little portions every hpur and a half, lost 50lbs without even trying.

The best diet is...having a hobby :) A lot of people eat because they have nothing better to do. Try to find something that wil keep you busy all the time so you won't even have time to think about eating. During the exams many people don't eat much simply because they are busy AF. Best diet ever :) Trust me. Lost ~70lbs that way.

Last indulgement before starting everyone has that

Thank you to everyone who offered support. I've been dealing with B.E.D. for over 10 years and it feels unmanageable. But yes, there is always "tomorrow" :)

Just be mindful of what you eat (write it down). Make small changes, not drastic ones. Eat the things you like on occasion (in moderation). You can do it. I'm super lazy so what works best for me is not bringing home a bunch of junk from the store. 25lbs down so far and I just ate pizza yesterday.

If you're serious about weight loss. It doesn't mean you stop what you love to do. Like he said just keep track of what your eating and find less fattening food that you enjoy to eat. You want to lose weight not deprive your body of what it needs or wants.
