Today, I received multiple phone calls asking how much my Siamese cat cost. Too bad I never had a Siamese cat - let alone a Siamese cat up for sale. Turns out the guy I prank phone called the other day didn't appreciate it and put my number on Craigslist with an add for a Siamese cat. FML

You're pretty lucky he put up only such a mild ad. Also, YDI for 1: prank calling, 2: being too stupid to hide your number if you're prank calling, 3: for bitching about it.

This happened to me too. Someone, I still don't know who, posted an ad on craigslist with my number on it saying I had a Mac for really cheap that I was selling so I got TONS of calls/texts. Sucks cause all you can do is just flag the ad and hope they take it down. I ended up just telling all of the people I already sold it. It was so much easier than trying to explain to them.

You can actually be made to pay now if you are found out for placing a false advertisment about something on craigslist. It's like 1000 dollars minimum or something.

Um. I don't think you're supposed to do it when they can actually *see* your phone number. Kinda makes it easy for them to get revenge. :D

HAHAAA!! I did something like this once when I was younger. some girl I had been friends with really pissed me off.. I can't remember why now lol ..but I was angry. SO.. I had these left over Girl Guide cookie flyers that said something along the lines of 'Sorry we missed you.. if you would like some cookies please call _______________.' I filled in the blank with her name and number.. and handed them aaaaall out . The End
