Today, I rolled down the windows in my car. When I tried to roll up the passenger side window, it was stuck. Rain was coming so I freaked out and brought it to the dealership to get it fixed. The man pushed the child safety lock button and the entire garage erupted in laughter. FML

Lol, I can't believe you couldn't figure that out before taking to the dealership.

lol, some people don't think very well under pressure.

#42 -- Yes, there is. You must still be driving something from the 70s if you didn't know that. Sad story for you, OP, but the dealership should have had more professionalism than to laugh at you. I've worked retail and had plenty of stupid customers that needed something spelled out for them, but I never laughed at them. That's just plain rude.

ooook this was me, and for clarification, i have a two door car so the window lock button only locks the passenger side. its located right by my left knee in my car so i must have accidently hit it while i was driving, so i was able to roll the windows down before i hit it but when i went to get out of my car it was locked.. still stupid that i didnt think to check it though.. :) and no, they were nice enough after regaining their composure to not charge me a dime

hahahahahahahaahaa. sorry but i would have laughed also. im not saying ydi but LOL. you just made my day.

I know my 1998 Honda Accord, and many other Hondas, lock ALL controls when you turn it on, instead of making it so that the driver side door can still open and close windows while the other doors cannot move their own. So for those of you posting about that, not all cars are the same. Edit: #9, assuming I'm correct, doesn't look like any of the Japanese car companies are in any trouble. And when people bring their car in for service only to find that they just need to press a child lock button, they're making more than enough money!

yeah. i toatled my moms car last week. i had had my driver license for only two weeks. i toatled it on a pole, in a parking lot, in front of all my friends. i still laught at this fail (but humbley)
