Today, I saw a car swerving in front of me on the freeway, so I whipped out my cell to report the DUI. As soon as it started ringing, I see police lights in my rear view and got slapped with a ticket for using a cell phone while driving. After explaining why, the officer said, "Nice try." FML

why didn't you just show him the last number dialed on your phone? I'm sure that a cop would know the local police phone number

It probably wasn't a DUII driver...it was probably just a person using their cell phone, just like you. I see it all the time, especially with texters.

it was a state trooper wasn't it, they usually have the ticket wrote before they get of the car. the rest of law enforcement is ok with me

yah... cops are smug bastards. you should have pulled over to make the call though.

#1 being a good samaritan isnt worth it anymore, **** em #2 I can talk and drive fine, it's called being able to multitask which only smart people can do and #3 fight it in court, bring in a statement with the phone number being called before the ticket was issued and they can pull a police record of the call being made. stick that in the pigs face

2 of my friends were killed by drunk drivers, so to all the people talking shit, **** you

That's what u get for trying to be a little snitch.

Sometimes I swerve intentionally, not on the freeway, but in my neighborhood, when there's someone going slower in front of me and I don't want to brake. By swerving, I travel a longer distance than them, and my car has a better chance to slow down.
