Most likely the call was logged. Twice. Once at the public safety answering point, once at your cell carrier. Your cell phone probably won't be admissible in court, but either of those would.

Come on, don't be twelve, take some responsibility for yourself and those around you by protecting those from danger and stupidity, like drunk driving. The last thing you want is a drunk driver hitting and killing someone you love because someone didn't want to be a "snitch."
