You should have pulled over before using your phone...YDI
Why? Not being able to talk on your cell phone while driving is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I always drive with one hand,I actually drive better that way. If I can't hold something up to my face and talk without crashing,I shouldn't be on the road. And if humanity can't do that, maybe all cars should be taken alway.
Ouch op
What's with the "ydi for snitching" comments? I would want someone to call the cops before he hits a car and kills someone.
I can see a problem with texting while driving but making a call is perfectly fine, and not illegal where I live. Fyl.
I don't get the not calling while driving.... Should people also not change there radio station? Talk to other people in the car? God forbid if they have small children. Just because there are some dumb people who can't talk and drive at the same time doesn't mean anyone should be ticketed because they made the choice to talk on the phone and drive. Most people can handle it.
That's what you get for trying to be a douche
That person was probably having a seizure or a stroke or something.. If someone is driving recklessly the correct response is not "if you can't beat em join em" You stay 100% focused. If you have hands-free call sure. If not let someone who does call. Don't risk more people's lives so you're the "hero".

why didn't you just show him the last number dialed on your phone? I'm sure that a cop would know the local police phone number
It probably wasn't a DUII driver...it was probably just a person using their cell phone, just like you. I see it all the time, especially with texters.
