Today, I saw an unbelievably cute guy. He caught my eye and began to walk towards me. I adjusted myself and flashed him a smile. He came up to me, smiled back, and said "Hi, do you have a minute for gay rights?" FML

I didn't even want to scroll through the comments as I know what half of them say, but if everyone would take a moment and read this I would greatly appreciate it: It's 2013 already, black people got their freedom, immigrants were able to come to America without judgement, having children out of wedlock was accepted (to a degree) and kids are able to live their dreams if they try hard enough. My point is that if we were able to accept all those things then we could accept gay love! I don't like it when people talk about how disgusting gay people are, or how it's unnatural because it's nothing but bullsh*t coming out of closed minded people's mouths! People like that make it hard for some gay people (bi,les and trans included) to come out! Especially me, I panic everytime I have the thought of telling my family that I'm bi and it stops me from being me, but guess what? The gay,les,bi and trans society is fighting back! Many states are accepting gay marriage and eventually you will have to accept it so grow up and stop being hateful! I would love it <3 Thank you for reading and have a good night ~Takia

It's funny that you say this because although African-Americans have their 'rights', they are still persecuted, just like most minorities are, look at Ferguson. You're too funny when you say that immigrants can come to America without judgement because last I remember seeing was a bunch of angry anti-immigrant a-holes, who are trying to kick hard working immigrants out of the country because they are not "American," a title which has been sorely tainted by the actions of many ignorant people. Believe me when I say you have your sources wrong. However, I will say this, love your significant other, man or woman, because other's opinions don't matter. You are only as free as you allow yourself to be, and trust me freedom isn't free. Bruce Lee once said "Be real." It is a difficult thing to do but the most self fulfilling. And it's not fair to jump to conclusions about what the comments are, so before posting something like this, make sure people actually posted vulgarities instead of assuming they did.
