Try being more outgoing. Start a bullshit conversation with some random stranger. Sure you might get some strange looks but you are sure to find someone who becomes interested in said conversation. Unless of course you are a hopeless bore. In which case take some mind altering drugs, at the very least you will have fun then. ;-)

He's probably not friends with you IRL, it's just that he can't run away fast enough to get away from you. It's always the slow ones in the herd that get nailed -- whether it's wildebeests getting eaten by lions, or slow-moving fat guys getting roped into tedious, strained conversations with ugly troll girls.
