She's just trying to protect you and the English language from who would seek to butcher it. Grammar Nazis are heroes, or heroines in this scenario.
Wow, what a bitch. I myself am a complete Grammar Nazi who breaks out in hives at the slightest error, but I try not to be an ass about it. Sounds like she's just not really into you and is using that grammar error as an excuse to avoid directly telling you so. Why you're getting so many YDIs is beyond me. FYL, OP. :/
I agree completely, it is like everyone is forgetting the point and only looking at the grammar problem. She was avoiding the subject and it was a rude reply, simple as that. I dislike horrible grammar as well, but there is a time and a place and I believe the message he was trying to say was more important than 'you're'. Some people on here are idiots.
I "THINK I MAY BE" in love with you? Over text? Shame. How else was she supposed to respond?
A reasonable response: I think it's possible that I may have strong feelings for you, which are able to be interpreted as love.
I would too
How can you not?

She's a grammar nazi. Doesn't mean she doesn't hold feelings for you. You neee to understand that bad grammar can be a turn off for some...
Good thing that she got her senses right, and that she corrected you is positive to show you that you can not do whatever you like :P And I am glad you are not rushing things and use words as "I may love you" But still a minor FYL moment though, since spelling can be hard at times. Or grammar
