Today, I showed up on set for a film that I booked a role in weeks ago. At the time of the audition, the script was being rewritten, so today I was so excited and eager to be told what my role would entail. When they handed me the script, my character was described as a fat, ugly, awkward girl. FML

So based on what I'm reading, you're admitting that you fit the role perfectly with little to no makeup?

So what? At least you have a job. Stop whining and get on with it!

maybe they edited it just for u! I'd feel really important if they did that for me 

Dude, relax. It's just an acting part. Have fun with it and be creative!

Why do so many people say OP deserves this? She most certainly does not, some script writer was just being a jerk.

Think of it as a challenge. With experience comes skill.

Look, I'm sorry, but part of acting is accepting what you look like and what would challenge you. As an actor, be happy you actually have a job. But you need to have that awareness and don't be disappointed because you weren't cast in the role you wanted.
