Today, I spent a solid four hours and over one hundred dollars preparing a nice fancy meal for my new girlfriend. A delicious three pound rack of ribs with a sweet and sour marinade. Steam broccoli with melted cheese. Home made buttermilk biscuits. I serve the meal. She doesn't eat beef. FML

That sucks, but before you go all-out on a meal like that you should at least know what she likes and doesn't like.

How long have you been dating this woman? You didn't know she doesn't eat beef? My GF doesn't eat it either, but I knew that within a few days of hooking up with her.

Whaddya mean your life is ******? She'd have to be a real bitch to not appreciate you making all that for her, and she had no reason to expect you to know. She's gotta be kinda dumb to leave that out when she's coming over for dinner.

Dude you should have asked what she did and didn't like before you decided to make dinner. Just bring it up in conversation a few times before you make the dinner if you want to keep it a surprise

she really should have told you that if she was aware that you were cooking for her.

It's for the best- who wants a *vegetarian* for a girlfriend? Better it ends now before she starts forcing it on your future kids.

I hope you at least got a BJ for your trouble. That's ****** up that she didn't happen to mention something like that.

and uv been dating how long? shows u know her well.

Why would you make such an elaborate meal for a new girlfriend? I'd be kind of freaked out if the guy I just started dating was trying to impress me with all this fancy shit. This stuff is nice for like a birthday or an anniversary, but just into a relationship? You're trying too hard. Sweet, but you're gonna get walked all over.

Haha, I agree with #98 :P. But to all those people saying 'dump her' - Just because she can't eat it doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate it, that's just stupid...if you were allergic to peanuts you wouldn't eat a peanut dish, but you'd still appreciate the gesture. She should have told you earlier or you should have asked. Either way, its nowhere near the end of the world. And #99, you are an ignorant moron.
