Today, I spent over 20 minutes trying to convince my daughter that the word she was trying to use was "Back-pack" and not "Back-back". I never convinced her. She is 16 years old. FML

This is my FML. YES, she is extremely blonde and believe it or not, a straight A student. I have never noticed she said it that way before until she had it written down. I've never caught it because we usually say "Book Bag". Her older brother finally convinced her through mockery and laughter.

Some one never watched dora...

I don't see what the big deal is. I've called pretzels "doors" my whole 16 years of life and have never been called dumb.

Oh wow... My two year old just learned the right way to say it.

That is because you failed as a parent early in her life... That's such a basic need now-a-days, that I am surprised no one taught it to her... Fail on the parents.

Does it really matter, at least she knows what it is.

Clearly she's never watched dora the explorer

I really hate it when people blame parents for everything! Seriously there are some really good parents with idiot kids... It's just my opinion, I don't give a damn if people disagree!

I've known people who were convinced it was "labtop" instead of "laptop"... never heard a "back-back" before though.

Hopefully she marries a smart man or her children are going to be complete idiots.
