Today, I swallowed and nearly choked to death on the ring my boyfriend hid in my wine glass. It's still in me somewhere, and my doctor basically told me that I'll have to "keep an eye on things" if I want to find it. FML

Big deal... I do it all the time. There are some tongue rings that are crappy and get stripped easily. I just keep the extras with me in my purse.

really? is that why I never have? it's called make sure the ends are secure...really not that hard to check/tighten them a couple times a day.

I really don't understand why so many people think "everyone" with a tongue piercing has swallowed the jewelry...it's never happened to me. why? because making sure the ends are secure a couple times a day really isn't that difficult.
