Today, I woke up in a puddle of blood after 7 hours of sleep. Before going to bed, I had inserted a tampon that should've kept me dry for at least 8 hours. Apparently it doesn't work well if sleepy me forgets to take the top part of the plastic wrapping off. FML

Ya, I ended up buying one of every brand for my twin girls to try. They thought it was gross at first. It's what fits you and what style works best. They gave away what they didn't like.

Being that tampons come with stupid proof instructions it's extremely sad that you had several unsuccessful try's at inserting a tampon. 2 or 3 times is understandable but feeling you raped yourself after is both ignorant and poor choice of words to explain
