You really didn't deserve that at all. Your boss should have simply told you he didn't feel the same and to never mention it again. I'm sure he has humiliated you and I can only imagine how horrible that must feel. Good luck with everything, and please try not to let some of the judgmental comments you've received get to you.

Its called that an employee and their boss involved in any kind of crush or relationship thing is illegal. At least where I live, I had a friend who had the hots for her sub sumo wrestler looking manager at Domino's because he was cute to her. To make things worse she was 17 and he was 29.
