you did the right thing!!! what a dumbass that guy is!
If a car runs a red light they legally have the right of way and you'd get a ticket if you could've stopped and didn't. You were right to stop.
you can contest that
And THIS is why I'm scared of getting my learner's permit!
that's fuckd up because mine told me to follow road rules but I was in charge so if I saw anything thay would put us in danger that he didn't see, to make sure I avoid it /use caution.
I failed my first driving exam because I let a car pass me on the left hand side, here in Australia was instant failure when I learned. I had just turned right onto a 2 laned section and checked my mirrors noting there was a speeding car in the left hand lane, he would have hit me if I moved over. Instantly the examiner told me I had failed, because I hadn't moved over to let him pass me on the right in the 10 seconds after I turned the corner.
That was the instructor's fault. You did the right thing by avoiding an accident.
So he'd rather you guys get hit?

And this is when you report him and say "you failed, at keeping a job"
You did the right thing.
