Today, I walked downstairs, made a bowl of hot cereal, and held a full conversation with my brother's girlfriend, before I finally put two and two together and realized I hadn't put any pants on. FML

Today, I slept in late and when I woke up, thought I was the only one in the house so I decided to walk around the corner to the only upstairs bathroom naked. My dad also slept in, also thought he was the only one in the house, and also decided to walk to the bathroom naked. We collided. FML

Today, I went for a run. When I got home, no one was there so I took off my clothes and laid on the cool wood floor. I decided to call my girlfriend and we started talking in baby voices. That's when my mom walked into the house witnessing everything. FML

Today, I was taking a shower after basketball practice. When I got out of the shower I thought no one was home so I thought it might be fun to walk around the house completely naked. I walk downstairs and my mom was eating dinner. Along with 20 other members of her bookclub. FML

Would everyone PLEASE quit asking about the damn hot ceareal?? I'll say this once: IT'S OATMEAL, OKAY? "Hot cereal" is another name for things like oatmeal and cream of wheat. So stfu and pay attention to the point of the fml. Lord...Idiots everywhere, I swear.... OP, I'm sorry about that. But cheer up. Worse things could have happened, and even though you were probably embaraased, at least it wasn't worse. :) Life'll get you down like that sometimes, but remember we all make mistakes now and then, and even if they're bigger ones than that, it usually works itself out in the end. I believe he's referring to oatmeal, as it's called here in England, the UK, and other parts of Europe(; I'm not too aware of it being calls hot cereal in the United States...
