Two options: 1- you don't look after your looks, and look like a hobo. Your fault. 2- You looked perfectly fine and the woman was just used to calling in anyone who goes by. Not FML.

i would have played along and gotten that free meal (if it was a good one)! she was only being nice, a hell of a lot nicer than most people in this world. i probably would have felt guilty afterwards though, then i would have been left with the choice of telling her the truth AFTER having just eaten some of her free food, or just keeping my mouth shut. :-S maybe give her a bit of a tip? :O then that'd give it away that you're not homeless. Decisions decisions..
