Today, I was a TA for a history class and the class was taking a test. About halfway through, I noticed one kid had a small piece of paper in his hand. I ran up the row, grabbed his test, and ripped it into four pieces. Then I took the note from him. It said "I believe in you, -Mom." FML

Today, I was taking the final exam for one of my classes. The teacher came over to my desk, grabbed my test and ripped it in half. Then he grabbed my hand and read the note I had written on it to remind myself to pay rent. FML

Today, I cheated on a math test by writing a couple of equations on my hand. Totally satisfied, I handed my test in, feeling like I had aced it. As I was heading toward the door, I happily waved goodbye to my teacher. She saw everything. FML

Today, I was passing notes in class with my crush. I started to pour my heart out and tell him about how I've liked him for years. I was caught by the teacher. He looked at it, laughed, and tore it up. He then looked at me and said, "I just saved you from years of embarrassment. You're welcome." FML

Today, we had a surprise test at school. I was totally unprepared for any of it, so I BSd the whole thing and turned it in. A few minutes later, our teacher said we were allowed to use our notes to finish the test. FML

Today, I was in my psychology class taking the hardest test ever. After I spent most of the period trying to fill in the few answers that I knew, I looked up to see everyone with their notebooks on their desks. It was an open-note test. FML

What the hell is wrong with you? You think the kid has a cheat sheet, but instead of asking to see it and make sure your first response is to rip his test into pieces without a moment of hesitance? You have no right teaching, or even watching children. EVER! In fact if you don't change big time, you have no right having children.

Everyone is calling you a jerk and being mean, but truthfully there was no way you could of known! 99% of the time someone has a paper out during a test it's them cheating. I feel bad for the kid, but there was no way you could of known it was something from his mom!

Yeah, WHICH IS WHY HE SHOULDN'T HAVE ASSUMED! That's the problem here. If you assume the worst right off the bat you're going to end up doing stupid crap like this. This is 100% the OPs fault. In no way do they deserve to be defended.

yeah, there's no defending this. when a kid is caught cheating, usually the course of action is to collect all papers, then analyze... that way if the kid WAS cheating there is proof... not some ripped up mess

listen,my mum is a elemantary/primary school teacher and for work experience I went to help in the school and there was a child just like this one. I thought he was cheating so I calmly walked over to him and asked if I could see the note,he obliged.I then patted him on the back told him not to worry, this is what could have happened to u if u were not such an asshole
