I've been there, and it hurts. I worked my ass off for months to audition for a drama school that I was denied from just days later. But don't be discouraged, I'm going to a great university this September after a year of waiting. At this point you will feel everything is over, but there is always next year (and always other places) hang in there OP I believe in you!! :)
If you aren't bright enough to read the intended addressee. They probably made the right choice not taking you
*address. Asshole.
You checked the address? The name didn't tip you off?
that really sucks. Sorry, and good luck next time.
kill your neighbor steal their identity no one will ever know.
I'm sorry this happened op. This is why you don't live near college stealing neighbors!
well if you can't spell *wrecked* or *life* correctly in not surprised. :-P my condolences, hope you get into your second choice school.

Was the letter not addressed by name on the inside? Sucks OP, it's bad enough that you didn't get accepted let alone having to know your neighbour did, especially if they don't choose to go there. Definitely FYL
If you open mail that's addressed to someone else, you shouldn't be surprised when its contents also relate to someone else...
