Today, I was at a pool party with some friends. They grabbed and lifted me in the air, about to throw me in the pool. My iPhone was in my pocket, so I screamed "MY PHONE!" They paused so I could gently throw it onto a deck chair. It bounced, hit the concrete, and cracked its screen. FML

Today, to keep my phone safe while I went on some rides, I took it out of my pocket so I could put it in my bag. Just as I pulled it out, a woman ran into me, knocking my phone to the ground and breaking the screen. FML

Today, I used a prank app, where you shake the cell, and it makes the screen looks cracked. I ended up losing my grip on the phone. It went flying, and it is now cracked for real. FML

Today, I was hosting a pool party, when my husband and his friends got the bright idea of lighting one of the party balloons on fire. Needless to say, it immediately exploded. In shock, he jumped back straight into me, sending me and my $400 cell phone splashing into the pool. FML

Today, I was at the pool with two boys I babysit. The eldest wouldn't get out of the pool so I pretended to call his dad. He then ran out of the pool, pushed me down, grabbed my phone, chucked it into the pool and then ran back into the pool. FML

you couldn't give it to one of your friends?? I always find that the people with iphones are always the ones that aren't responsible enough to take care of it (even if it was unintentional like you OP). The ones with cheaper phones, always seem to have fewer phones bought, and pay less to get an good quality one that can do almost the same things. I've had my LG keybo 2 for a year now, and in that time frame, my friends who have iphones... theirs broke due to stupidity or carelessness. Yet mine is still intact and I've dropped it a lot. Gosh... this FML just reminds me of why I'm not getting a iphone... too expensive to replace. Blackberries are better in the long run anyways... but all in all, that's my opinion. Good luck replacing! I'm not say you do deserve it... nor am I say you don't... it depends on what you allowed to happen without thinking first about your phone.
