#228 / LaLaJoy: 1) I agree. Likely fake. Buy hey, you never know. There are engineering dissasters to be had out there. Some of the more spectacular ones have killed people. That's why several people asked where this was. The lack of reply from the OP pretty much clinches this as fake for me. If I posted an FML on here and it got approved, I'd read it! 2) They aren't asking for pics to get ****. The Internet is full of free ****. They're asking either to be assholes, or as a way to say, "So what? Grin and bear it! Hell, we'd like to see it!" It's either really mean or really friendly, but it's not pathetic. 3) Yup. Agreed. Especially since the OP doesn't say she's big or small or whether this was a kiddie ride or anything. People read a LOT into FML posts and then assume that it MUST BE TRUE because they're SO SO SMART that it couldn't be any other way. Bah. 4) Perhaps. Style is hard to nail down. But a two piece suit is more prone to coming off than a one piece, and a two piece shows a lot more skin. These are not subjective things. What your intentions are don't really matter. YOU may like the way it looks, but *I* would rather that you cover a little more. Showing a lot of skin makes it harder for men to take you seriously. It's like waving a donut in a hungry man's face and trying to talk to him about the economy. Now before you go off on a rant about how OMG MEN SHOULD CONTROL THEMSELVES. We do. I'm not saying it's some excuse to go rape six year olds. What I'm saying is that wearing a two piece suit makes it harder for us to NOT think about it. It's *distracting*. So now that you know, it's YOUR DECISION whether you want to make it EASIER or HARDER for people to see you as a person. Besides, as I've said before, I think one piece suits actually look better. And they're only harder to deal with in the bathroom if you have to take a crap. Otherwise, just pull it aside like everyone else (including men) does. A one piece suit is NOT going to come off of you on a water slide. Admit it. Not happenin'. No matter how much you like that two piece, a one piece is better attire for a SLIDE.

I'd have to say YDI. You're supposed to follow the rules when going down a slide, if you were laying on your back, with your feet down, and not up in the air like a fallen turtle, you wouldn't have been stuck. Pity that the bikini came off, but perhaps that wasn't the best choice to bring to a water park. That's more "tanning at the beach" wear isn't it?

#236: You're not going to arrange your entire wardrobe (even if it's just one or two items) for sliding, if you're going on 2-4 slides and spending the rest of the time in the water or on the sand. I do very much like your explanation of the effect that showing skin has. Yes, there is such a thing as self-discipline, but the process is made easier when there's less skin involved. That being said, *I* enjoy seeing more. :-) I don't think that I agree that a one-piece looks better, either, although it really depends as much on the style and texture on the suit as anything else. Also: I have gotten very close to getting stuck on those things before. Definitely gone slow enough to get run into by the little kids behind me. Then again, I'm massive.

how do u get ur bikini bottoms untied theres no strings and u must be a fatass to get stuck in a slide
