Today, I was at work when I found an iPhone on the floor. I decided not to turn it into the manager and keep it. Five minutes later, a customer asked if anyone had turned in her missing phone. I said no and began to walk away, when her friend called her phone. It rang. She recognized the ringtone. FML

Dumbass. That's why you turn it off.

One of my former roommates reminds me of this OP. They saw an Apple package left by the UPS man on someone's front porch, so they took it. Got a nice iPod out of it. The roommate blamed the customer for leaving it out on the porch, blamed the UPS man for leaving it out on the porch, and blamed the Apple company for branding their delivering boxes. He basically blamed everyone but himself and justified that if it was that important, then someone would have taken better care of it....

Even if you had it on silent, FindMyiPhone of given the phones location anyway.
