Today, I was being interviewed for an amazing job when I was asked what animal I would describe myself as. Trying to be prompt, I picked the first thing that came to me. I responded with, "I'd be a turtle because I'm really slow sometimes." FML

You should've said although I might be slow sometimes, I am very methodical and will always get there in the end without making mistakes, like the turtle in the turtle and the hare.

I would of said something like I may start out slow but that's because I'm surveying my surrounding and taking in the details. Once I'm in the water though I am fast and get what needs to be done, done. I also work well with others and can be a valuable part of the group!

You should have just followed it up with "I chose turtle because I take my time to make sure the job gets done right, and no matter how hard something seems I keep at it to win the race." Pretty decent answer unless its a very fast-paced job.

this doesn't really work since efficiency is more important then all else. and if this is a black and white job there's really no neeed to persevere through the problem solving
