Thanks for your comments and highly original puns ! Just to clear the language issue up: "I was burgled" is correct British English (as opposed to American English) and means "Somebody broke into my house and stole things that belonged to me". "Burglarized" is the American synonym. The site said I come from Europe - I do, but it's a big place. I come from England and I live in Mayotte, a French territory in the Indian Ocean.

I hate when you can't take a shit in peace. You should have yelled to him to come back later when you were done.

False: One cannot burgle a person. Burglary is the breaking and entering (or legally entering and surreptitiously remaining) with the intent to commit a felony. The illegal entry of a person is either rape or battery. You may have been robbed or your house may have been burgled, but you were not burgled.

OP's from Europe, and, considering the nickname, possibly French. I don't think using the wrong word makes this one false.

Burgled has two different meaning. So this is a little confusing. But I think a lot of people have it confused (I think anyways, difficult to tell exactly which use he meant). But burgled also is a term use when someone flings the door open on you in the bathroom stall. Example of use of the word: Man, even with 4 out of 5 stalls unoccupied, I still managed to get burgled today!
