Today, my girlfriend was upset, so I tried to cheer her up by telling her how much I love her and how beautiful she is. After a minute, her face started to light up. I thought it had worked until I realized that she was being cheered up by the friends she was talking to online. FML

Today, I have been dating an incredibly gorgeous woman. She had a poor self image and after the longest time, I finally convinced her to seek counselling to help her self esteem. It worked. So well in fact that she just broke up with me because she "finally realized she could do so much better" FML

What you do is say, "You're beautiful. If you were mine, I'd do anything for you." then kiss her. If she screams, "Eww, GET OFF OF ME!", leave and tell everyone she knows that she gave you herpes. If you really loved her you'd have done so years ago.
