haha, I know! I've had plenty of boyfriends tell me I look hot when I'm mad, and would piss me off just to see it
um has anyone thought maybe he was trying to cheer her up like joke with her
wow... too bad your boyfriend isn't enrique iglesias, at least he would made a song about it... But that aside, it's a little douchy and RIP for your cat hunny! Don't dump your boyfriend but try to never cry while he's watching again. If he loves it, too bad. Again, I'm sorry for your lost
Mmm, the tears of unfathomable sadness!
lol this^
I don't suppose he could mean he loved to see an emotional side of you he hasn't seen very much of. Perhaps he felt a closer connection to you when you showed him a more vulnerable side. People keep their emotional walls up all the time, and sometimes life decides to break those down. Many people are truly themselves when they are faced with a harsh reality of life. So I wouldn't take it as an FML. But rather he loves the real you he sees when you’re grieving without your defenses up. This is of course giving him the benefit of the doubt, but guys are known for not always being able to communicate their emotions very well. I give him this benefit of the doubt because he cupped your face in his hands and looked you in the eye. (i.e. he was serious and wanted your full attention) Hopefully this doesn't post twice but the first time the page seemed to time out.
very well thought out and put... again though, the actions around the situation are needed to make any call (as in most FML's). If he laughed diabolically and spit on her afterwords then you could be wrong... of course if he followed it with a heart-felt hug then you are most likely correct. It just bothers me when people give advice like "dump him" over a one paragraph description from one side of an event. Of course i do know that we have to work with what we have and all that. of course it is always interesting to see what peoples knee jerk reactions are to situations only partially described.
Indeed. It would seem many times the knee-jerk reaction is to quickly retaliate to pain with an attack. I guess the random speculation is part of the entertainment value for us the huddled masses. Most FML's leave you wondering if there weren't further events that preceded or followed said FML that would change the general public opinion. I like the saying "If there are two ways to interpret what I'm saying, and one of them makes you mad, I meant the other one."
Who has in-depth thought out responses to a fml? And Who throws a shoe? Honestly!
crazy sadistic guy
