Today, I was eating lunch, and accidentally got ketchup on the sofa, so I hastily doused it with stain remover. The ketchup is now no longer there; however there is a larger stain in its place. I stained the sofa with stain remover. FML

Could it be that now that spot is actually just cleaner than the rest of the couch now?

I actually would think you didn't stain the couch with stain remover. You more than likely cleaned one spot & now need to clean your whole couch.

Wouldn't that be so nasty if it was true?

If it's like the stains I've dealt with, it'll fade away when it dries off. Don't worry about it, OP

Use shout! & a dry towel. It's amazing on cloth.

Eating lunch over the sofa. $4.95 Cleaning product for messy spills. $2.95 Reupholstered couch to hide cleanup mess. $150.00 Irony of the situation. Priceless

It says on the bottle 'test in an inconspicuous area' first.. Learn to read

Flip the cushion & get over it

Lol, just flip the cushion.. No one will ever know!!

Mustard will get ketchup stains out. Rub it in and let it sit about and hour, then rinse it gently with grape juice...voila...problem solved.

This made me LOL HARD! OMG, it may be the funniest comment ever! Seriously, and I know it pains one to read the fine print, but try any such product on a small discrete portion of the sofa first to see how it reacts. Yeah, I know, that's not funny. But this comment was hilarious!
