If you had to write the check, you could've easily just written a couple extra zero's... x) but if you wanted to opt for something actually legal; I would've called the boss a dumbass to his face. I mean, you're already fired; so why not go the whole nine yards and tell him off?

Did you add a few digitas at the end?

I think you should have increased the amount of zeroes that were at the end of the check. Would have worked out so much better for you.
