Today, I was following my dad while texting, not really watching where we're going. Suddenly, he ran ahead and I looked up to see what he was doing. We were in the men's bathroom. There were 3 guys at the urinals. I'm a 15 year old girl. FML

we were driving to a different province and had stopped at a gas station. I had plenty of time to spend with him on a 13 hour drive. I was texting people I wouldn't see for awhile. jsyk ..

i've been drunk and ran into people and knocked them over. it doesn't mean i'm going to get drunk, get in my car and run someone over. obviously the op is lot smarter than other teens and adults and knows not to text and drive.

I thought she would be texting, and not notice she was following someone that wasn't her dad. Then she said he ran ahead. I was thinking he noticed she was stocking him and ran away, and she walked in the opposite direction of her dad.

oh, bullshit. situations like this happen all the time, whether or not cell phones ar involved. people get distracted on the street, and trip or bump into other people. girls root around in their purses and don't look where they're going, and end up walking into the wrong room. get off your high horse - i'm sure you've had plenty of times where you got distracted and did something stupid because you weren't paying attention. it just so happens that you weren't texting at the time. get over yourself - being a dick does not equal being funny.
