Today, I was having a funny conversation with a guy I had met on Xbox. I told him the state I lived in, and he said, "Don't tell me that, I might stalk you." He wasn't kidding. He has somehow found out my phone number, and my address. He says he's going to send me flowers. FML

Holy shit. I didn't think this would actually get posted! Well, I'm happy after all of the FML's I've posted over the years, this one got chosen

Someone obviously doesn't take online privacy settings very seriously. YDI

Let me guess - you used video chat and your screen name is similar to, or actually is, your name - AND you put all that other information on Facebook. Awesome move! Enjoy the flowers.

Sounds like your quite well versed in methods of attaining the private information of others...

Not really. I just know to use screen names such as "office ninja" and a location such as "maybe in your office". See, I mostly read and comment on FMLs at work. Revealing too much might result in the bosses finding out what I really do on company time. And I can't have that! So my identity must remain secret. It is a simple concept.

I met my fiancé on Xbox live. But yes, this guy you met is going way past the joking cute straight into stalker creepy carry a gun or spry with you type thing

10, not always. In the game World of Warcraft, people have gotten married because of meeting their significant other in the game.

Big deal people, he put the state he lives in. I am pretty sure that their is more than just the one guy in the whole state! It's not like he put his address to his house.

She might not have said it, but he now knows it.

You should learn the difference between there, their and they're, that way your arguments will seem a lot more intelligent

then how did he find her address? duh the internet! on some personal page ( Facebook) she probably put all of that info that he needed to find her. its not that hard to find people on the internet or Facebook.

Contrary to popular belief amounting from the holy book of Forever Alone, one funny conversation on Xbox Live usually does not amount to you finding your soulmate.

Actually it looks like he already completed that quest.

lol! i wish the guy i talk to from xbox would send me flowers...

He has a J-tag guys. It's illegal but I've heard about them. They allow the player who has one to see where you live, your home phone number, what Internet you have, and they can Kick you off Xbox if they have a really expensive one. I learned all this by experience.

Like the new game shark...but SCARIER!

It's really not that simple and they aren't made for stalking people like that. They are made for running unsigned code that normal xboxes can't run.
